Blog > The Tower Bridge At Sunrise

August 9, 2013

The Safestay blog presents to you the Tower Bridge at sunrise.  This great picture was taken by our resident blogger, Marcello Arrambide, the WanderingTrader who frequently travels to London.  The picture was taken at the Tower Millenium Pier just as the sun was rising.  Safestay has a great location that allows anyone to arrive at this location with a short tube ride on the underground (subway/metro) or even a brisk walk or bus ride.

The picture was taken at six in the morning so be sure to check the sunrise times to catch all the action.  One may arrive at the same location by arriving at the Monument Underground Station or taking the number 40 bus that stops very near the Safestay Hostel. As long as one arrives before the Tower Millenium Pier is opened there will be free and unrestricted views to some of the best sights in London.  From this one location there will be views of the Eye of London, The Shard, and of course the Tower Bridge.

Make sure to check out this great picture of the Shard at sunrise as well and we will see you in London soon!
